Bluestocking is our newest sock yarn. It's compostition is 80% Bluefaced Leicester wool/20%nylon, and superwash. Blueface Lecester is an English breed of sheep with long lustrous, strong fibers suitable for projects that require a durable yarn. Bluestocking is a three ply yarn, put up in generous skeins of 420 yds. It knits up at 8sts/inch on US size 1 needles. Recommended needle size 1-3.
This yarn makes us happy because it's superwash but still feels like real wool and Karen swears it smells sheepy, yum.
