Hello All,
Starting today we are open Monday through Saturday from 10 - 5, we will stay open Mondays atleast through September and maybe into October...we'll keep you posted. You will be seeing more of lovely Linda, our friend, part time helper, and spinner extraordinaire. You may even see her spinning a beautiful yarn in the shop, using some exquisite fiber no doubt!
I know it's finally warm, but a few of us nuts never stop knitting, if this sounds like you, remember we have our KnitTog group that meets the 2 & 4 Saturday of the month from 10 until noonish.
We have some classes coming up in July, you can always call or email for more info, or check our calendar on the website for group and class times. Materials are not included in the class fee, as usual there is a discount on needles and yarn (except handspun) on the evenings of classes.
Beginning Sock Class Tuesday July 15, 29, and Aug 5; 6-8pm
(the second class may need to go for longer)
Participants should be comfortable knitting and purling, we'll show you the rest! Cost $50.
Vine Lace Scarf July 22 6:30- 9:30
A very simple lace patterned scarf, not too complicated, I promise. A great way to learn lace. Cost $25.
We have some new things in the shop...more Addi Lace needles in lots of sizes and lengths...they are made up to size 9 now! Rollie stitch keepers for double pointed needles, reinforcing yarn for socks, amazing handspun yarns from Eddington, and were are expecting some locally raised roving this week for you handspinners, new Julie bags, Blossom Studio glass buttons, each a piece of art.
We have moved our sale yarns to the Orange Room, so if you stop in be sure to check them out.
